Our mastering services are offered at the following rates for your convenience:
- Main Mix: €65 per track
- Alternative Mixes: €25 per alternative version of a main track (e.g., instrumental edit, radio edit, TV/performance mix)
- Vinyl-Ready Masters: €25 per track, in addition to the €65 main mix mastering fee, to prepare a vinyl-ready master for cutting.
- DDP Fileset: €25 for a DDP fileset.
Revisions
Revisions are included at no additional cost prior to final delivery, up to a reasonable number. Beyond this, Fergal Davis Mastering reserves the right to apply additional charges for significant revisions, based on the complexity of requests and at Fergal Davis Mastering’s discretion. Revisions after final delivery will always be charged as new masters. New mixes of previously mastered songs are not considered revisions and will incur a new mastering fee.
Additional Versions
Alternative versions (such as instrumental, a cappella, or performance mixes) will be charged at €25 per track if no substantive changes have been made to the original. Substantive changes will incur a full mastering fee, and Fergal Davis Mastering retains discretion in determining what constitutes “substantive changes” on a case-by-case basis.
Attended Sessions and Cancellations
While we generally operate through unattended sessions, clients attending in person must provide all necessary project files at the scheduled start time. Failing to appear or cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge equivalent to two hours of studio time at a standard rate.
